Pre-order items are those in development or production.
Placing a pre-order secures the item at a favorable price before it’s physically available, ensuring priority access during an extended delivery period.

Customers who place pre-orders will receive preferential pricing compared to the in-stock pricing, as well as priority on our delivery schedule. Only a limited amount of pre-order deals are offered per project.
The expected delivery window for your pre-order item will always be listed and updated directly on the product page. In addition, all pre-order customers will receive regular email updates on the progress of the project, including updates regarding the expected delivery window.
Once the delivery window is reached, we will always contact and coordinate the preferred delivery of your pre-order item. Should you incur any changes to your delivery preferences, for example a change of address, we encourage you to notify our customer support team.
As an independent brand, our manufacturing operates in smaller production batches. Even for limited-edition items capped at a specific number (e.g., X units), production is divided into smaller, staggered runs.
When the initial batch sells out, the product may re-enter pre-order status to accommodate the next production run, ensuring consistent availability leading up to the final delivery of the total limited quantity.
All pre-orders are non-binding, meaning that you may cancel your pre-order at any time without specifying any reason for doing so and receive a full refund.
The 30-days return & refund policy as stated in our Service & returns terms applies from the delivery of a pre-order item, and not from the order date.
REC Watches reserves the right to cancel and refund pre-order items if they are withdrawn from our production pipeline.
All pre-order items are fully eligible for returns and exchanges, and both the 3-year warranty and 30-days returns policies apply from the date of delivery, not from the date of purchase.
Payment for pre-orders is taken immediately, and your pre-order is not considered confirmed until payment has been received.
Yes, pre-order and in-stock items can be combined in one order, but will be shipped seperately unless otherwise coordinated with our customer support team.
Yes, you may request a specific serial number either through the product’s dedicated Collectors Page or by contacting our customer support team.
Please note: reserving a specific serial number incurs an additional fee and may extend the expected delivery timeline for your pre-order.
Installment Payments via Splitit
You can purchase this item in payment installments with Splitit – with no extra hidden costs.
The installments will be spread over your chosen number of months and debited to your credit card.

Splitit allows you to split the total payment over a maximum of twelve months using your credit card. This service is free, involves no credit checks or applications, and means you can choose to split your payment into monthly installments.
This service is chosen during the online checkout.
To use this payment method all you need a credit card with a sufficient amount of available credit. Splitit authorizes the total order value—but don’t worry, this is not taken in full when you complete the purchase. At the time of shipping, only the first installment will be charged to your credit card. A payment authorization for the outstanding amount of your purchase will be held during for up to 30 days after placing your order.
After each monthly payment, the amount held from your available balance will be reduced to the new remaining balance (the held amount might appear as “pending”). To ensure that the authorization of your credit card is valid for the entire payment period, the authorization will be renewed every 21 days.
No, this is an interest-free payment method with no additional fixed fees, service fees, interest, or hidden fees of any kind.
You can pay using Splitit with a Mastercard or Visa cards. Debit cards and pre-paid cards are not accepted for this payment method.
You must maintain a sufficient amount on your credit card for both the monthly payment and for the full outstanding amount of your purchase for up to 30 days after placing the order.
The average authorization typically drops off within 5-10 working days. The authorized amount will be charged only in the event that a monthly payment is declined (the authorization hold might appear as “pending” on your credit card bill).
If you decide to not keep the ordered item(s), upon return of the items we will reimburse the installments that have already been paid and cancel the outstanding payments.
Installment payments with Splitit can be chosen as a payment option during the checkout process. Here, you can choose the number of installments in your payment plan and view the monthly payment amounts.

Every timepiece purchase includes complimentary shipping, a 3-year international warranty, and a hassle-free 30-day return window from the date of delivery.

All domestic and international orders ship from Denmark.
Customs duties and import tariffs are not included in the item price or shipping costs. For non-EU orders, any taxes, duties, or customs fees imposed by your destination country are your responsibility.
If any additional fees are charged by the carrier beyond customs or import duties, please contact our customer support team for reimbursement. If you refuse to pay these charges, REC Watches ApS will cover the costs to return the shipment, and this amount will be deducted from your refund as a restocking fee.

REC Watches ApS insures all purchases during shipping until delivery. Courier shipments require a signature, transferring responsibility to you at that point.
If you designate another recipient, their signature is accepted as proof of delivery and order fulfillment.
Damage in transit: If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days, providing a written description and a photo. We will offer to repair or replace the product.
Lost in transit: For lost shipments, action will be taken after the Carrier’s investigation. Shipments containing watches are insured and will be replaced if deemed lost.

Each pre-order includes an estimated delivery window, but exact dates cannot be guaranteed due to production and quality checks. We’ll do our best to provide accurate updates and notify you by email if the delivery date changes.
Once your pre-order ships, you’ll receive a notification with a tracking number.
If you order pre-order items with stock items, we’ll try to ship them together. For long pre-order periods, we may contact you to choose between combined or separate shipments.
