The TTT ICON1000 is a Swiss made limited-edition timepiece made from the 2013 Triumph “Speedmaster” developed with ICON 1000 Motorsports.
Are you a true rider with pure fuel pumping through your veins? Our TTT ICON1000 watch is based on a beast; the Speedmaster.
A roaring icon which we have merged with the elegance of Swiss-made horology. Built to ride through time looking sharp and without compromise.
The 2013 Triumph “Speedmaster” bike by ICON 1000 is a tribute to thedrag racing days, where everything was decided on the quarter mile.
Every part of this build is made to dominate and hold nothing back.
REC Watches has repurposed the stator cover of the custom built dragracing bike “The Speedmaster” and transformed it into the dial of the TTT ICON 1000.
As with all REC Watches, the patina of the recycled material means thatno two individual watches will ever look identical.
The bike’s design tips a serious nod to the 1960s, with a hefty dose ofmodern performance upgrades thrown in. Don’t be fooled by the retrolooks though - this baby goes like a rocket.
As well as the actual parts of the “Speedmaster” bike used in the dial, the TTT ICON1000 watch also contains a myriad of design references. Among these are the black-and-cream color scheme used on the dial, hands and straps, and the “Go Fast, Look Flash” motto etched on the inner case, which appears when the wearer switches between modes.
Each TTT timepiece features a dual case construction that lets the wearer turn the entire dial to switch between RIDE and DRESS mode. In RIDE mode, the 12 o’clock marker is shifted 30 degrees clockwise to center it in the rider’s field of vision.
Each timepiece features a dual case construction that lets the wearer turn the entire dial to switch between RIDE and DRESS mode. Engage on the open road, switch to the RIDE function and the watch dial will turn 30 degrees to fully center it to your vision.
The semi-openworked sandwich dial and exhibition case let you look straight through the balance wheel and beyond, echoing the “naked” design of the TR6’s engine.
The polished wire lugs, which protrude from the contrasting vertically-brushed outer case, closely resemble the bike’s exhaust pipes. Each watch is individually numbered on the left side of the case.
The skeletonized SW200-1 movement has been developed and customized in collaboration with Sellita, and features ruthenium plating and a custom rotor inspired by the spoked wheels, with a sunburst-finished oscillating weight.
