Service & Returns
Timepiece Service
All authorized servicing is performed by our watchmakers in Denmark. Mechanical timepieces should generally be serviced every 3–5 years to ensure optimal performance. For inquiries and pricing, please contact our customer support team.
Repairs
Most repairs are completed within 3–6 weeks, including transit. Times may vary due to holidays, shipping delays, parts backorders, or complex issues.
When contacting us for warranty or repairs, please provide:
- A clear description of the problem (images recommended)
- Full name and contact details
- Preferred re-delivery address
- Valid purchase receipt or order number
- Warranty card copy
Warranty
We offer two types of warranty
Sales Warranty
36 months from delivery, covering manufacturing defects if accompanied by a signed warranty card. Excludes normal wear, damage from improper handling, or third-party servicing. Leather product wear (fading, softening, edges) is not covered.
Repair Warranty
12 months on all work performed by REC Watches. Excludes normal wear or damage caused by unauthorized repair centers.
Returns & Refunds
Products purchased via www.recwatches.com may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, exchange, or store credit. Orders above €100 / $100 / £100 qualify for complimentary returns.
Returns must be pre-arranged with our support team to receive a prepaid label. Items must be unused, dispatched within 7 days of receiving the label, and shipped in sturdy packaging. We inspect all items on return and process refunds within 14 working days (bank processing may take up to 10 additional days).
REC Watches may refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
Return Address & International Returns
Use only the return address provided by our support team. Online orders cannot be returned in person without prior agreement.
International returns must be clearly marked “Returns and Repairs of Danish Merchandise” on both packaging and customs forms. Orders under $100 value require customers to cover return shipping.
