The 901-01 is an exclusive limited edition timepiece crafted from salvaged air-cooled Porsche 911s, each one a tribute to automotive heritage.

Every 901 watch proudly displays the VIN and production year of the reclaimed Porsche on the left side of the case. Accompanying this piece is a personalized story card, recounting the rich history and journey of the specific car that gave it life.

Designed for both elegance and comfort, the 901 features a distinctive rounded case with short lugs and a luxurious double calf leather strap. The dial of each watch is uniquely characterized by subtle marks and imperfections, ensuring that no two pieces are alike, making each 901 truly one of a kind.

The story of the Porsche 911 began in 1959, when Ferdinand “Butzi” Porsche, the son of Ferdinand “Ferry” Porsche, sketched its original design.

As the successor to Porsche’s first consumer car, the 356, the 911 was envisioned to offer more space, greater power, and enhanced comfort.

At the heart of our 901 Collection is the mission to reclaim retired 911s, repurposing their components to create one-of-a-kind timepieces.

We salvage exterior parts from these iconic vehicles and incorporate them into our watch dials with minimal alteration, preserving the authentic patina and rugged charm that defines the 901 Collection.

Once these components are in hand, we carefully stamp them into watch dials. The availability and condition of each part determine how many dials we can craft, ensuring that each timepiece boasts its own unique character.

To prepare the materials, we strip away any remaining paint or primer, exposing the raw metal beneath. A thin layer of transparent lacquer is then applied, creating a flat surface and sealing the dial to prevent further oxidation.

We also take pride in uncovering the history behind each reclaimed car, often using just the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to trace its origins. By scanning the NFC storycard included in your 901 gift box, you can unlock the full story of the Porsche 911 that has been transformed into your watch, creating a deeper connection to both the car and its legacy.

Beyond simply containing a piece of a 911, the 901 timepiece embodies the true spirit of this legendary sports car.

While the recycled dial is the highlight, the design of the 901 pays homage to the rich legacy of the Porsche 911 in countless subtle ways.

The rounded case mirrors the 911’s unmistakable silhouette, complete with the signature rear air intake nestled between the lugs. The exhibition case-back showcases the revered Fuchs hubcap design, revealing the powerful Miyota cal. 9100 movement, with a rotor styled like a brake disc.

On the opposite side of the semi-recessed screw-in crown—designed to evoke the Porsche horn button—a small plaque proudly displays the VIN and production year of the exact 911 from which your watch is made. Drawing inspiration from the classic five-dial cluster of the 911, the 901’s sandwich dial features five functions, with watch hands mimicking the sleek look of Porsche’s gauge needles.

At the 12 o’clock position, the 40-hour power reserve pays tribute to the gas and oil gauges found in early 911 models. The power reserve is displayed via a rotating disc that changes color as the watch is wound. The month, date, and day complications are strategically placed at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, presented on transparent discs with contrasting backgrounds, elevating both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the timepiece.
